• Do not use water to extinguish the flame.

Care Guide:

1. Before Lighting: Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Keep the candle away from drafts, flammable objects and out of reach of children and pets. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each use to prevent excessive smoking and ensure a steady flame.
2. Initial Burn: When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to burn until the wax melts evenly across the surface, creating a "full melt pool" to avoid tunnelling. This usually takes at least 3-4 hours. As a rule of thumb, burn your candle for 1 hour per 2cm in diameter. This ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle.
3. Subsequent Burns:
   • Keep the wick centred and trimmed to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent the flame from becoming too large and to minimise sooting.
   • Avoid burning the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Extinguish the flame if it becomes too high or flickers excessively.
   • Allow the candle to cool and solidify before relighting.
   • Repurpose your candle vessel and clean out the remainder of the wax.
