Bi-Han also known as Sub-Zero, is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. A cruel, former Lin Kuei assassin, he is the older brother of fellow Lin Kuei assassin Kuai Liang and serves as a primary antagonist towards his younger brother and Hanzo Hasashi. Bi-Han made his debut as one of the few original characters in the first Mortal Kombat game as the original Sub-Zero, a mantle later passed down to his younger brother Kuai Liang after his death.
Thought to have been killed in the Shaolin tournament, Sub-Zero mysteriously returns. It is believed he travelled into the outworld to again attempt to assassinate Shang Tsung. To do so he must fight his way through Shao Kahn's tournament.
