Founded in 1946, the National Basketball Association (NBA) is the top men's professional basketball league in North America. Selected 7th overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry is a four-time NBA Champion (2015, 2017, 2018, 2022) and two-time NBA MVP (2015, 2016), including the first unanimous MVP in league history. He is a nine-time NBA All-Star and multiple-time All-NBA selection, and he led the league in scoring twice (2016, 2021). Widely regarded as the greatest shooter in NBA history, he holds the all-time record for three-pointers made and has led the NBA in threes in seven different seasons. Before the NBA, he starred at Davidson College, where he became one of the most prolific scorers in NCAA history and led a memorable Elite Eight tournament run.
