Godzilla is a giant monster that debuted in the eponymous 1954 film, directed and co-written by Ishirō Honda. Mechagodzilla is a terrifying alien robot built by the ape-like Simeian aliens from Planet 3 of the Black Hole, designed as a mechanical doppelgänger of Godzilla to conquer Earth, featuring laser eyes, finger missiles, and rocket boosters, eventually fought alongside the guardian spirit King Caesar against the alien threat.
