Cresselia is a Legendary Pokémon of the Psychic type, and it was first introduced in Generation IV. It is not known to evolve from or into any other Pokémon. Cresselia is part of the lunar duo, along with Darkrai. Its body is swan-like and has a blue colour with a yellow underside. It has a pointed, beak-like snout, pink eyes, and a dark pink, round tuft on its head. On the sides of its head, there are yellow, crescent-shaped ornaments that merge with the back. It also has a pointed, tail-like protrusion on its rear. Cresselia has pink, ring-like wings that glow on its sides and back. The wings on its sides are solid dark pink, while the back wing is more prominent and consists of three shades of pink. These wings emit shining particles and create beautiful undulations around the quarter moon. Additionally, it has paw-like protrusions resting on its chest. Cresselia usually floats, but it may rest on the floor when injured.
