Digimon, short for "Digital Monsters" is a Japanese media franchise encompassing virtual pet toys, anime, manga, video games, films and a trading card game. The franchise focuses on Digimon creatures, which are monsters living in a "Digital World", a parallel universe that originated from Earth's various communication networks. Created in 1997 as a series of virtual pets, the creatures were first designed to look cute and iconic even on the devices' small screens; later developments had them created with a harder-edged style influenced by American comics.

A starter deck based on the new anime "DIGIMON BEATBREAK"! Members of "Glowing Dawn" gather! Many characters from new anime "DIGIMON BEATBREAK", which started airing from October, make an appearance! Digimon like Gekkomon and Pristimon make their Digimon Card Game debuts! Members of the group "Glowing Dawn", which plays an active role in the anime, are collected in this starter deck allowing for a new battle to unfold!

A new game mechanic called "Dual Cards" is here to revolutionize the Digimon Card Game! It's been about 2 years since the latest game mechanic, "ACE", was introduced. As Digimon Card Game enters its 6th year "Dual Cards" are coming to start a revolution!

There's a chance for certain cards in the deck to have a special design! The chance is the same as low pull-rate cards in boosters, but ST-23's "Gekkomon" card has an alternate design version you might get if you are lucky.

Each deck will come with all 6 types of the versatile "Memory Boost" cards!! A set of 6 types of the "Memory Boost" cards which can be useful in most any deck come with each deck. Boost a wide variety of decks with these 2-color "Memory Boost" cards!
